Four new principals join Morongo Unified School District for 2026-2027 school year

School begins across the Morongo Unified School District on Monday, August 10. Back-to-school events continue this week.

Registration, orientations, back-to-school nights, and meet the teacher events continue throughout the first week of August, running through August 7.

MUSD announced in a press release that four new principals will be joining the team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Nick Aguilera joins Twentynine Palms Junior High School as principal, Sabrina McDavis joins Morongo Valley Elementary School as principal, Melissa Mora joins Joshua Tree Elementary School as principal, and Humberto Alvarez joins Twentynine Palms Elementary School as principal.

MUSD says that each of these new principals brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and a shared commitment to supporting students, staff and families. The district looks forward to the positive impact they will have in their school communities.
