Are you hungry and don’t have access to meals through the Senior Center or Meals on Wheels on the weekends? Food For Life is here to cover a meal on Saturdays. The hot, nutritious meal is served from 3 to 5 p.m. each Saturday at no cost. The meals are served at Church of the Nazarene in Twentynine Palms, across from Del Taco. Food for Life is an all-volunteer organization. Churches, organizations, and individuals serve as board members, cooks, drivers, and servers. Volunteers are always welcomed. To volunteer your time, call Food For Life at 760-844-9794. Tomorrow, November 9, Wally Curry will be preparing the meal. He will be serving BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, and dessert.
