FIVE TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL TRACK ATHLETES IN CIF PRELIMS

Five Twentynine Palms High School athletes—KJ Magwood-Morton, Selemara Mapuatuli, Liana Ruiz, Garrett Schrepfer, and Spencer Walton—traveled to Carpinteria High School to compete for Twentynine Palms in the CIF Preliminary track and field meet on Saturday. Coach Ronda Lockett-Morton said the top performer for the day was Selemara Mapuatuli, the De Anza League Discus champion who placed eighth overall in the event and will compete Saturday at Cerritos College.
