Fermentation workshop this Wednesday at Flamingo Heights Community Center

The Flamingo Heights Community Center is hosting a fermentation workshop on Wednesday. Come through to learn how to ferment your own vegetables for a live, probiotic snack or fixing. Basic supplies will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring glass jars, food scale, large bowls, kitchen knife, cutting boards, and vegetables (jalapenos, carrots, pickle cucumbers, cabbage preferred).

All are welcome, but this workshop involves basic knife skills! 

The workshop is Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Flamingo Heights Community Center at 55977 Perris Street.
