Felon arrested for allegedly threatening another person with a knife

A convicted felon was arrested for allegedly threatening a person with a knife.
On Wednesday (October 7) at around 3 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 67900 block of Foothill Drive in Twentynine Palms. Deputies say they received a report from a victim who had been threatened by Freddie Day, 52. Deputies say that during an argument with the victim, Day threatened them with a knife. Deputies took Day into custody and recovered the knife at the scene. The victim was not injured. Day was previously convicted of domestic violence and burglary.
Freddie Day was arrested for investigation into assault with a deadly weapon and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $40,000 bail.
