Enjoy a night of Latin food and music at CMC Latinx Association’s “Sabor y Sonida” tonight (9/27)
Copper Mountain Community College is celebrating its 25th Anniversary of becoming an independent California community college throughout the school year, and they have announced an event happening next weekend that is part of the celebration. “Sabor y Sonido” is an event put on by the CMC Latinx Association and open to the entire Morongo Basin Community.
The event will feature authentic Latin American flavors, live music, and cultural performances that will showcase the diversity of Latinx heritage. Association President Heather Sanchez said, “This event is a bridge between the college and the greater hi-desert community, connecting families, businesses, and neighbors in celebration and support of our students’ success.”
It’s being held on September 27 and feature music form Nacho Bustillos.
