DUCK PLUCK TO SUPPORT CMC FOUNDATION

With our new socially distanced lifestyles, the CMC Foundation is getting creative for their next fundraiser. Reporter Cassidy Zimarik tells us how hundreds of rubber ducks will support local college students…

The Copper Mountain College Foundation is excited to be hosting their first ever duck pluck, a virtual fundraiser via Facebook live. Hundreds of adopted rubber ducks will be launched in a pool on Tuesday, August 11th, with a number to correspond with the name of the person that adopted them on the bottom, and a few lucky ducks will be plucked as winners! The prizes range in value from $106 to $155. Adoptees can buy their ducks on Facebook or text DUCKPLUCK to 844-844- 6844. CMC Foundation board members and staff can also assist in the purchasing of ducks. Proceeds from the event will help the CMC Foundation meet the continually evolving needs of our local college students. The event will be held on August 11 at 6:30 p.m. Visit the link below for more information on the fundraiser.
