Driver allegedly flashes gun during road rage incident in Yucca Valley
A road rage incident led to an arrest for allegedly brandishing a firearm.
On Thursday (April 23) at around 10:50 a.m, California Highway Patrol officers and deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Kickapoo Trail in Yucca Valley. Deputies say that there was a road rage incident between two drivers, and the confrontation escalated. Deputies identified one driver as Michael Aboeid, a 24 year-old resident of Yucca Valley. They say Aboeid brandished a .38 caliber pistol during the road rage incident. Deputies contacted Aboeid and took him into custody.
Michael Aboeid was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a firearm. He was cited and released at the scene.
