The Morongo Basin Healthcare District recently launched the Feeding Morongo Basin Project to improve the health and wellness of Morongo Basin residents. In their food first distribution last month, they gave out all available boxes of food items within a few hours. Reporter Cassidy Zimarik has the details on the district’s second food distribution event…
The Morongo Basin Healthcare District will host a second no-contact-drive-through food distribution event as part of their Feeding Morongo Basin Project. On Saturday, July 18, residents can drive up to the distribution, open the trunk and drive away. The food boxes weigh about 30-pounds and contain non-perishable food items. Distribution will be limited to one box per vehicle while supplies last.
