A domestic disturbance call in Twentynine Palms Saturday led to the arrest of a Twentynine Palms man for possession of weapons and ammunition. A deputy was called to the 70400 block of Cielito Drive about 11:40 p.m. Saturday. The victim said she had just had surgery on her arm and feared that Louis Ontek, 48, had re-broken it. Ontek allegedly punched the victim several times and took her vehicle. During the investigation, the deputy determined that Ontek was in possession of a Remington shotgun, shotgun shells, and methamphetamines. As a convicted felon, Ontek is not allowed to be in possession of guns or weapons. Louis Ontek was arrested for investigation of being in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and violating the terms of his parole. Louis Ontek was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
