A Desert Hot Springs Man was arrested Wednesday, accused of being a drug dealer in possession of drugs and firearms. Authorities say the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a narcotics-related search warrant at a home in the 66900 block of Estrella Avenue in Desert Hot Springs. During the search, the task force found suspected methamphetamine, a firearm, ammunition, and other items consistent with sales of narcotics. At the scene was Nicholas Sardegna, 40, who was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm with narcotics, child endangerment, and other charges. Sardegna was booked into the Banning Jail with bail set at $260,500.
