Death Cafe returns Wednesday night at Copper Mountain College

If someone you love has passed away, a local group wants to give you a place to talk about it. The Death Cafe returns for the summer Wednesday evening (July 8).

Led by Death Doula Lauren, everyone is invited to join this group to discuss death, grief, mortality and all the other messy emotions that come with the passing of a loved one.

The Summertime Death Cafe is happening Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Copper Mountain College Room 103.

A promotional flyer for a "Summertime Death Café" set against a desert landscape with tan mountains, blue sky, fluffy white clouds, and a large yellow sun in the upper left corner. The title "SUMMERTIME DEATH CAFE" appears in large brown letters across the top. Centered text reads: "Let's keep the conversation going this summer! Come join this group-led discussion on death, grief, mortality and everything in between!" Below, the flyer lists the location as Copper Mountain College, 6162 Rotary Way, Joshua Tree. The event takes place on Wednesday, July 8, 6:00–7:00 PM, in Room 103. The lower left corner features the logos for Copper Mountain College Student Life and the Copper Mountain College Wellness Center, labeled under "Sponsors." The lower right corner includes the logo for Desert Doula Lauren, identified as the discussion leader. The overall design uses warm summer colors with a peaceful desert theme, creating an inviting atmosphere for a thoughtful community conversation about death, grief, and mortality.
