An annual dinner is part of the Copper Mountain College Foundation’s fundraising program. Reporter Mike Lipsitz tells about the success of this year’s dinner…
At its annual fall dinner earlier this month, the Copper Mountain College Foundation hosted 85 supporters and keynote speaker Chief Glenna Wallace of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. A quilt raffle netted the Foundation nearly $2,100 for the Christine Proudfoot StudentActivity Center. The winning ticket went to Linda Lubitz of Twentynine Palms. The dinner was a chance to highlight the work of the Foundation which raised just over a million dollars during the 2012-2013 fiscal year.
