CMC Board of Trustees Board met Thursday, Sept. 8

The Copper Mountain College Board of Trustees held their regular board meeting last night on
Thursday, September 8th at CMC.

CMC Trustees met last night to packed attendance to discuss their adopted budget for the 2022-
23 school year. Superintendent Dr. Darren Otten updated COVID protocols, before board members
discussed the process of appointing a new member in the wake of Eva Kinsman opting out of a
second term. A detailed slide show presentation was given by faculty members who attended the
National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, and discussed various ways to implement what they
learned to the CMC campus.
