A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Wednesday, accused of multiple counts of abusing children in her care at the Child Development Center on board the Combat Center. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the Child Development Center about 9 a.m. March 17 to review a videotape that allegedly showed Pamela Cadwallader, 61, inflicting abusive physical punishment on five children: a 3-year-old boy, two 4-year-old boys, and two 5-year-old girls. After an investigation, Pamela Cadwallader was arrested Wednesday, March 23, on suspicion of misdemeanor child cruelty, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, cited, and released later that afternoon.
