CDFW holding virtual Western Joshua Tree Conservation workshops on March 10 (3/10)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is holding a virtual public workshop on Monday, March 10th regarding the Western Joshua Tree conservation act, incidental take permits and the Western Joshua Tree conservation plan.

The workshop will cover comments received to date on the draft conservation plan and some anticipated changes based on the comments. There will also be a public open forum for additional feedback.

There will be two meetings: one from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and one from 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m.

Both meeting times will cover the same topics.

10:00 to 10:45 a.m.; 3:00 to 3:45 p.m.: Introductions to Conservation Plan team, Overview of the Western Joshua Tree Conservation Act, WJTCA and CESA ITPs, Overview of the Western Joshua Tree Conservation Plan

10:45 to 11:15 a.m.; 4:00 to 4:30 p.m.: Response to Frequently Asked WJTCA questions

11:15 to 12:55 p.m.; 4:30 to 5:55 p.m.: Open forum/Q&A

12:55 to 1:00 p.m.; 5:55 to 6:00 p.m.: Process and timeline for future input
