The Morongo Basin Tennis Association’s 13th annual family tennis carnival, held Saturday at Jacobs Park in Yucca Valley, marked the conclusion of the 2013 Junior Team Tennis season by honoring players, team moms, dads, and coaches. Tournament winners were Robbie Kizer, first place; Jack Ingram, second place; and Jessica Fairfield, third place. Fast-serve aces were Jessica Fairfield and David Adams. Beck Gordan and father, Todd, were Champions of the Court in the Rally ball Family Doubles Tournament. In the Junior Stars Family Doubles Tournament, Andy Tamayo and his brother, Saul, were Champions. In the Jr. Stars Division (Intermediates), round robin tournament winners were April Bratcher, first place; Andy Tamayo, second place; and Devin Landers, third place. In the Stars Division (Advanced), Twentynine Palms won the league championship. Yucca Valley #1 came in second.
