A few car owners had a bad day in Twentynine Palms Tuesday. A Twentynine Palms woman had her car stolen when she left her car running while she went into a restaurant in the 72100 block of 29 Palms Highway to pick up a take-out order. She was inside for about 10 minutes and when she came back out about 5:30 p.m., she discovered someone had stolen her 2010 Toyota, along with her cell phone and purse. Two other residents found that their cars had been keyed. A resident in the 5800 block of Bagley Avenue and the 7000 block of Estrella Avenue reported the vandalism Tuesday to Sheriff’s deputies.
