The Johnson Valley Community Center is offering Saturday breakfast-to-go every week between 7 and 10 a.m. Place your order and pay in the lobby; a server will bring your order to you. Or order in advance by calling 760-792-4555. A large breakfast plate is $6; small breakfast is $4, and coffee is included. A lasagna dinner will also be served tonight from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Each dinner is only $7 and includes a green salad, bread, and dessert. The drive-through dinner service means you order inside the community center, go back to your car, and then drive up the driveway behind the building to pick up your meal at the kitchen door. The Johnson Valley Community Center is located at 50567 Quailbush Road, on the corner of Larrea and Quailbush, in Johnson Valley.
