BoxoPROJECTS hosts visiting artist “talk and walk” this Saturday (4/25)
BoxoPROJECTS hosts an artist talk and walk with their visiting artist, Annie Briard.
The artist is visiting from Vancouver, BC. In her talk, Annie will retrace her creative research from the desert to the Arctic and back, that led to a body of work produced in Joshua Tree and exhibited in Los Angeles in 2024 and 2025.
Moving from art to neuroscience, to geology and myth, the talk will highlight how the artist makes use of light and expands perception in her experimental landscape and lens-based practice
The talk will be followed by a short walking tour guided by the artist. On the walk, we will discuss color and vision psychology.
