Blood is desperately needed in the Morongo Basin. To that end, Lifestream will be holding two different blood drives in Yucca Valley tomorrow (November 17) One blood drive will be held at the Center For Healthy Generations, located at 57121 Sunnyslope Dr from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The second blood drive will be at the Twentynine Palms Farmers Market, located 73551 Twentynine Palms Highway from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Healthy individuals at least 15 years of age may donate blood. Everyone under 17 years of age must provide LifeStream with written parental consent. Donors receive a LifeStream quarter zip pullover (while supplies last) and a free mini-physical (including readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol levels, iron level and temperature) with results being posted on the donor’s private online portal.
