Audition for Dance Mojave’s spring performance “The Wild Stages” this Saturday in Yucca Valley

The non-profit dance collective known as Dance Mojave will be holding auditions for their latest production called “The Wild Stages” this Saturday in Yucca Valley. The show will feature dances inspired by the flora and fauna of our desert ecosystem and will be performed with musicians providing live music in an outdoor setting here in the Morongo Basin.
Auditions will be open for both children and adults. Children must be at least 10 years old. You don’t need to have any specific performance experience to audition or to participate in a Dance Mojave production. The non-profit focuses on making dance accessible to everybody and has put on two Desert Nutcrackers as well as an outdoor performance titled “The Planets” last May at the Sky’s the Limit Observatory in Twentynine Palms.
Auditions will be held this Saturday (1/24) in the Cholla Room at the Yucca Valley Community Center beginning at 1:00 o’clock.
You can find out more information about the auditions at their sign-up form.
