Leptospirosis is an infectious disease spread through an infected animal’s urine. The main transmitters of lepto are dogs, rodents, and farm animals. It is a disease that can be transmitted to humans. Leptospirosis affects the liver, kidneys, nervous system, eyes, and reproductive system. The Animal Action League will now offer a leptospirosis vaccine for dogs for $11, in addition to its vaccines for DA2PP, corona virus, rabies, and Bordatella.
