The 29 Palms Community Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. It’s also open the second and fourth Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30. And the food pantry will be open November 17 and December 22 from 9 to 11 at 6450 Star Dune Avenue, Twentynine Palms. The food pantry is looking for volunteers. The 29 Palms Community Food Pantry needs volunteers. Especially needed are volunteers who can lift and carry 25 pounds and are available during the week and or weekends to move the large supplies of food that are moving in and out of the pantry. The pantry also needs volunteers who are interested in participating in the day-to-day operations of the Pantry and serving as a board member.
