Sign ups are open for orchid classes at this years Morongo Basin Orchid Festival.
These classes teach you how to grow and arrange orchids and have become a popular part of the annual fundraising event. They are conducted by the Riverside/San Bernardino Orchid Society.
This year, the festival has five orchid classes covering many types of orchids and arrangement approaches. Participants will take home the orchid or orchid design of their choosing. The Carnivorous plant class is returning again this year by popular demand.
There is a fee for each class ranging from $12.00 to $35.00. 100% of the classroom fee goes to the Riverside/San Bernardino Orchid Society to support Orchid conservation programs. There is a maximum of 35 participants per class.
The 30th Annual Morongo Basin Orchid Festival will be held at Gubler Orchids in Landers on October 4 and 5.
