10th Annual Wild West Showdown raises funds for Unity Home and victims of domestic violence

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Unity Home in Yucca Valley highlights its importance with a Wild West Showdown fundraising night on October 17.

The event features a live band, barbeque dinner, dessert auction and a silent auction. The event will include a candlelight vigil to remember those who lost their lives to domestic violence, which impacts one in every three people. 

Morongo Basin Unity Home provides a safe haven for victims of domestic violence and October’s Showdown event is one of their primary fundraisers. It’s happening on October 17, at 6 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center.

Tickets are $50 each or $90 per couple and are available through Eventbrite or at the Unity Home offices, 7237 Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley.
