THREE FOUND WITH WEAPONS, DRUGS, STOLEN PROPERTY AND ENDANGERED CHILDREN

Three Landers residents were arrested Friday after they were found with a stolen vehicle and drugs. About 5 p.m. Friday, Deputies John Arden and Zach Carlos were on patrol in the 57900 block of Rocky Acres in Landers looking for a stolen off-highway vehicle. They found the vehicle near a home and contacted Timothy Baker, 37, who said the vehicle was his. During the investigation, deputies learned that Baker was also selling methamphetamine. A search warrant was obtained for the home, and inside deputies contacted Nicole Baker, 36, and Crystal Horath, 33, along with more methamphetamine, marijuana packaged for sales, 11 rifles and shotguns, four handguns, ammunition, and body armor. The deputies determined that the Bakers’ 12-year-old son and Horath’s 2-year-old son were living in unsafe conditions. Timothy Baker was arrested for investigation of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of drugs for sales, and possession of a loaded firearm in conjunction with drug sales, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000. Nicole Baker was arrested for investigation of child endangerment, cited and released. Crystal Horath was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant from Riverside County for vehicle theft, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, and was released to another agency.
