The Yucca Valley High School teacher accused of unlawful and lewd acts with a minor is in the middle of a jury trial. After two days of juror selection in which nearly 100 potential jurors were screened, the trial started Tuesday, January 27, for Zachary Miller, 34, who faces six counts of various sexual molestation charges. The prosecution has been presenting its case all this week. A year ago, high school officials notified the Sheriff’s Department that they believed Miller was having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student, and place Miller on administrative leave. Miller was arrested last March. Zachary Miller posted bail of $225,000 while awaiting trial.
