If you are a Twentynine Palms resident living in the third, fourth, or fifth districts; consider attending a Candidates Forum hosted by your community radio station, Z107.7 News. Moderated by Z107.7 News Director Gary Daigneault, the event will be held on Wednesday, October 10, from 5-7 p.m. at Theatre 29, 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms. Each of the six candidates will answer questions submitted both in advance and that evening. These questions must be answerable by all candidates, not just one. To submit a question, send an email to [email protected] and please put “Forum Question” in the subject line. You can also drop off your question at the Twentynine Palms Chamber of Commerce, 73484 Twentynine Palms Highway, or submit your question the night of the event. Running for District 3 is incumbent Daniel Mintz and certified write-in candidate Denise Cullum. In District 4, incumbent John Cole will face challenger Karmolette O’Gilvie. And in District 5, incumbent McArthur Wright will be challenged by Cora Heiser. For more information, e-mail Gary Daigneault at [email protected].
