Z107.7 will host a radiothon with the Yucca Valley high school select choir on Friday, February 10 to raise money for a once-in-a-lifetime educational trip to Washington D.C. Reporter Andrew Dieleman has the story…
The choir has been given the opportunity to participate in a Spring Performance Tour of Washington, D.C. Students will visit George Mason University and James Madison University, working with the directors and choirs. Students will also perform at the Lincoln Memorial, on the Upper Senate Park Lawn, at Mount Vernon, and for wounded service members at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Z107.7 will host the “Send Our Kids to Washington” “Radiothon” to help raise the funds needed for the trip.
