Host Pat Kearns has put together an impressive line-up of local music themed for Halloween for this Sunday’s Z107.7 Local Music Showcase, which features local Morongo Basin musicians. The show is broadcast weekly at 4 p.m. Sundays on the air at Z107.7 FM, online at Z1077fm.com, on the Z107.7 app, and then available as a podcast through iTunes.
This week, among the 12 selections, Kearns will highlights some music that gets us in the mood for Halloween. The Blank Tapes kick it off with “Pure Evil,” the Urban Desert Café with “Vienna Vampire Waltz;” more spooky fun with Hunter and the Wicked doing “The Devil has Blue Eyes;” a cut from the Phantombones CD “Acquisitions;” Jessica Von Rabbit with “Who the Hell Knows;” and ending it up with Matt Ellis doing “The Kids of America.”
