Tomorrow (Wednesday April 14), Z107.7 will broadcast a one-day hunger-fighting fundraiser called “Radio Cares: Feeding America Emergency Radiothon” and we’re hoping for listener participation Basin-wide. Managing editor Tami Roleff has the details…
The economic stress of COVID-19 has made the hunger problem even worse in America. So, this Wednesday, April 14, Z107.7 will do its part by broadcasting “Radio Cares: Feeding America Emergency Radiothon.” The one-day fundraiser will benefit Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief organization. The proceeds will benefit the Find Food Bank, which distributes food in the Morongo Basin to the 29 Palms Food Pantry, the Way Station, Food for Life, and the food give-aways at the Joshua Tree Elementary School.
The Radiothon will air on Z107.7 FM on Wednesday for 24 hours, from midnight to midnight. To donate, visit Radiocares.org or text “Radio” to 662266.
