Reporter Cassidy Taylor joins us now to recap the latest episode of Desert Lady Diaries…
“But I do remember driving up the grade and seeing the Joshua trees and being just like, wow, this is like alien. What is this place?”
The topic of the conversation was what brought Cindy Daigneault and her husband, Gary, to the Morongo Basin. How did new job opportunities turn into applying for an FCC license to run what is now Z107.7, Your Community Radio?
“And somebody had done what they called forced an allocation. So they said that the area was underserved and needed another radio station… And we applied for the license… So that’s how we got where we are today.”
Daigneault and Davis also talk travel, family, and friendships in this episode of the Desert Lady Podcast which can be found on your favorite podcast player.
