YVHS BOYS’ SOCCER FACES CATHEDRAL CITY AT HOME

The Yucca Valley High School boys’ Soccer team played a home game last night (December 8) vs Cathedral City High School and lost 3 to 0. This is the first game of the season and while the team is disappointed with the result, they have some positives to take away from the game. The Trojan defense played a solid game, but made some critical mistakes leading to scores against them. The player of the game was Senior Captain goalkeeper Landon Gradilla. Landon is a leader of the team and always leads by example, he had 5 saves tonight. The Trojan soccer team’s next game is Friday (December 10) at 3 p.m. at Desert Hot Springs High School.
