YUCCA VALLEY’S MEASURE “Y” AND “Z” PROPONENTS ON Z107.7 TOMORROW

Supporters of the two proposed tax measures for Yucca Valley will be the featured guests on tomorrow’s Up Close Show. Call in between 10 and 11 a.m. Friday morning to ask Lori Herbel, Sabrina Peukert, and Bob Stadum about sales tax Measures Y and Z. Herbel and Peukert represent the Citizens to Lower Sewer Costs committee; Stadum is president of the Hi-Desert Water District board of directors. Measure Y is a 10-year, half percent sales tax whose proceeds would be used for public safety, maintaining town roads, and for other town services. Measure Z is a 10-year, half percent sales tax whose proceeds would be equitably divided among town residents to reduce their sewer assessments. Call the Up Close show tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with your questions.
