Yucca Valley’s annual 5k Family Fun Run and 2k Walk is this Saturday (9/6) and you can still sign up

The Town of Yucca Valley Community Services Department is hosting their annual 5K Family Fun Run and 2K Walk on Saturday (September 6) at the newly remodeled Machris Park in the Upper Sky Harbor neighborhood off Joshua Lane. 

It’s not too late to sign up to participate as they’ll be registering runners and walkers onsite. The event offers a morning of fitness and fun for participants of all ages and abilities, and there will even be waterslides at the event to keep things cool.

Participants can choose between a 5K Run, which includes a competitive timed option, and a 2K Walk. Both events will be professionally timed and include race bibs for all registered participants. The paved route makes it accessible for families with strollers, and leashed dogs are also welcome.

Registration is accepted online or in person at the community center.

Regular registration continues through race day at a fee of $35 with t-shirts and goodie bags included while supplies last.
