The Yucca Valley Youth Commission, established in 1995 to communicate with elected officials and local youth, invites Students in grades 7 through 12 to serve on the Youth Commission.

Youth Commissioners serve the community each school year by volunteering for town programs, hosting youth activities, and discovering creative and effective ways to communicate with other young people.

Appointments are made in the fall for a limited number of commissioners.

Students may apply for the 2022-23 Commission by completing an application no later than November 1.

Contact the Community Services Department at (760) 369-7211 or email Sue Earnest at [email protected]
