The Yucca Valley Youth Commission, which acts as a liaison between the town’s government and young activists working on the local level, is now accepting applications. Students from grades 7 through 12 are eligible to serve on the commission, which has created and produced intergenerational programs, presented forums, and worked on community events. The Yucca Valley Youth Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month.
