The Town of Yucca Valley has a Youth Commission that provides communication between Yucca Valley’s elected officials and Yucca Valley Youth. Yucca students in grades 7 through 12 are eligible to serve. Appointments are made in the fall with members serving throughout the school year. The Youth Commission meets with the Town of Yucca Valley staff members at 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month; workshops are scheduled as needed. Applications to serve are available at the community center or online at www.yucca-valley.org. The deadline for completed applications has been extended to October 2nd, 2014.
