The girls and boys wrestling teams from Yucca Valley High School both won their match Thursday against Desert Mirage High School.
Adelina Rialmo pinned her opponent, and there were big wins from Genesis Rialmo and Cheyenne Halliburton. Coach Patrick Francis said, “All the girls wrestled tough.” For the boys, Spencer Carranza, Anthony Stolting, Tim Harris, Eric Vera, and Jeremy Land pinned their opponents with a big win from John Cruz, adding that all the boys also wrestled tough. We are looking forward to Hosting the Trojan War wrestling tournament Saturday at 9 a.m.
