This weekend, the Yucca Valley High School girls and boys wrestled in the CIF individual tournament.
The boys were at Carter High School, with Jeremy Land making to the fourth round and John Cruz making it to the fifth round of matches in the tournament.
The girls were at Hillcrest High School, with Genesis Rialmo, Charisma Shannon, and Dyoni Smith all make it to the fifth round of matches in the tournament. Coach Patrick Francis said, “None of our wrestlers will move on to wrestling in the Masters tournaments next weekend, so the season for our school in over until next year.”
