YUCCA VALLEY WOMAN SUSPECTED OF TRYING TO CASH A FRAUDULENT CHECK

A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Wednesday, accused of trying to cash a fraudulent check. According to a Sheriff’s report, Elizabeth Rauskin, 37, went to Frontwave Credit Union in Yucca Valley and tried to cash a fraudulent check. The clerk stalled Rauskin until deputies arrived. Elizabeth Rauskin was arrested for investigation of forgery and conspiracy, and on a warrant for possession of stolen property, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $75,000.
