A Yucca Valley woman suspected of involvement in two burglaries was arrested Sunday. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 62300 block of Two Mile Road in Joshua Tree reported a burglary about 8:15 a.m. Sunday, and that two of his vehicles were among the stolen items. Just after 11 p.m. Sunday, a deputy on proactive patrol located one of the stolen vehicles in the 7200 block of Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley. Standing near the car was Jean Barragan, 50, also known as Jean Hosking. A records check of Barragan showed she had an arrest warrant for grand theft from a burglary reported in Joshua Tree from October. Inside the stolen car were items reported stolen earlier on Sunday. Jean Barragan was arrested for investigation of possession of stolen property, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
