YUCCA VALLEY WOMAN HELD AFTER ATTACK ON EX-BOYFRIEND

A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Tuesday, accused of hitting and threatening her former boyfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, the man was at a home in the 7600 block of Balsa Avenue in Yucca Valley helping friends move when he said Carla Mastroianni, 57, hit him in the face and split his lip. He told deputies Mastroianni then grabbed a knife and swung it at him, and tried to hit him with a vase before his friends were able to subdue her. After an investigation, Carla Mastroianni was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $50,000.
