A Yucca Valley woman was arrested twice in three days for different crimes. On Friday, Bryana Phillips had been taken by ambulance to Hi-Desert Medical Center about 7 p.m. While there, she got into a fight with another patient and pushed the woman, causing her to fall on her daughter. There were no injuries, but the mother wanted to press charges. Bryana Phillips was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, cited and released. Then on Sunday, a witness called about 9:15 p.m. to report that a woman, later identified as Phillips, was setting several bushes on fire in the area of Avalon Avenue and Buena Vista Drive. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fires. During the investigation, deputies learned that Phillips intentionally set the fires. Bryana Phillips was arrested for investigation of arson, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
