A Yucca Valley woman was arrested following a domestic dispute that resulted in alleged vandalism. On Wednesday (October 27) just before 8 a.m., deputies responded to the 56400 block of Carlyle Drive in Yucca Valley where Destiny Alter, 38, was locked out of the home she shared with a relative, after the relative had changed the locks, citing Alter’s failure to pay rent for two months. According to Sheriff’s reports, Alter arrived at the residence and broke a window and damaged the front door using a crowbar and a wooden log, claiming that there was no rental agreement in place. Destiny Alter was arrested for investigation of felony vandalism and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $25,000.
