YUCCA VALLEY WOMAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF DANGEROUS WEAPON

A 33-year-old Yucca Valley woman was arrested early Friday morning after she was found with a throwing star and drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy made a traffic stop about 2:45 a.m. near Deer Trail and Santa Fe Trail in Yucca Valley. The report states the driver, Natalie Barner, admitted she had some marijuana in the vehicle. During a search, the deputy located a shuriken—or ninja throwing star—along with marijuana, a scale, and syringes. Natalie Barner was arrested for investigation of possession of a dangerous weapon, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $25,000.
