A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Tuesday after fighting with her roommate over a dog. According to a Sheriff’s report, a neighbor in the 7500 block of Shafter Avenue called deputies about 4:30 p.m. to report that a woman with blood on her face came to his home asking for help. Deputies determined that Virginie Ourmieres, 42, and the victim had been drinking when they began to argue about Ourmieres’ dog. Deputies said Ourmieres hit the victim twice in her face, bit her hand, and pushed her into a pile of bricks. The victim also had bruising from a fight with Ourmieres two days earlier. Virginie Ourmieres was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
