A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Sunday, accused of assault and spouse abuse. Deputies were called to the 58800 block of Barron Drive in Yucca Valley by a passer-by who heard arguing and loud crashing sounds from inside the residence. Arriving deputies also heard screaming and crashing noises, and contacted Robyn Brown, 51, inside the home. According to deputies, Brown attacked and punched the victim, then hit the victim with a wooden sign, causing multiple injuries. Robyn Brown was arrested for investigation of assault and spouse abuse, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
