A Yucca Valley woman was accused of resisting arrest Sunday. Deputies were called to the 6900 block of Lennox Avenue in Yucca Valley about 8:45 a.m. Sunday to help keep the peace. The caller said Jessica Renderos, 26, had argued with the caller’s mother the previous night and was on her way to the mother’s home, and the caller was afraid for her mother’s safety. Arriving deputies searched the yard and home for Renderos and found her hiding inside a closet. Renderos refused to come out of the closet, and then started kicking, scratching, and fighting the deputy’s attempt to place her in handcuffs and lead her to the patrol car. Jessica Renderos was arrested for investigation of resisting arrest, booked into West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
